To keep it short, my work place is notorious for being toxic and having bad management. My boss doesn't do shit, and pushes all tasks to her employees without proper training. I am very unhappy and currently look for other jobs (as well as my entire department). I have been here for about 5 months.
Today my supervisor and her supervisor asked me to go on a walk with them out of the blue. They basically told me "You seem unhappy here. Maybe this job just isn't the right fit".
We talked for a long time. I explained that many of us do not feel valued, and that management from my boss is lacking. My boss talked to me one on one awhile back and told me she was unhappy and she is seeking another career that she feels more passionate in. She told me she worried that her unhappiness is affecting everyone beneath her - and it sure is. Yet today, on this walk with her and her supervisor, she had a different story and became very defensive stating how she is just doing her job with the crazy load she has.
Regardless, I am confused at the intent of this meeting. They tell me this may not be a good fit, yet they want me to stay. It is an at will employment and I am on a 6 month probation so I am not sure why they wouldn't just fire me.
