What US city to move to for entry-level jobs?

I've looked through the articles on this subject, but after searching those cities those articles really seem like lies to me. Heck, I live in Austin which is supposedly the hottest economy in the country, and finding a job here has been miserable.

I have a bachelor's degree and a slew of random experience, but I've had very bad luck finding good companies, most I've been a part of have had horrible management and culture. I'm kind of just trying to find a place that isn't ridiculously expensive but that doesn't suck, but I don't know where to look.
