I'm currently working on a Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA) somewhere in the mid-west. I have the option of graduating early(by the end of this semester) and just getting an MHA or I can go to school for another year and get a 2nd masters in Health informatics. I have decent work experience in healthcare through volunteering and internships, but no official healthcare experience (Full-Time) because I started my masters right after my undergraduate degree. Also, I'm paying to go to school right now. Based on the given information, would you guys suggest that I look for a job right now or go another year and get the additional masters degree and how would that impact my salary/career outlook? Also, many of my peers are applying for administrative fellowships, how would the pay look like in 5-10 years going that route vs. going to the industry (i.e. insurance, consulting, or health data analyst)?
