How to send a follow up email after a job assessment?

Hi,

I was wondering what are some proper formats for follow ups after a job assessment? I was given a technical assessment and I think I did pretty well on it. The assessment was due at the end of Friday, though I managed to complete it thursday morning. While I know most people would advise to give a week or two before a reply, I am in a bit of a rush to finalize my Apr-May schedule (Which includes moving to a different city) and would like to make some plans around whether or not I will be accepted into the next step in the hiring process. I'd like to ask what are some good ways/formats to send an email asking about the hiring stage given that it has only been 2 business days since.
