This is a question for what job titles I should be searching. I need a job ASAP because I'm graduating next month with a degree in pre-law. I've been applying to entry-level legal jobs like an entry-level paralegal, legal assistant, and other related jobs. I took a class last semester that granted several students an opportunity to have their plays performed by actors. I've always loved writing but never knew where to take it. My play was phenomenal and it was a hit with the audience. The performance duration ended last night and I'm now inspired to be a writer. I don't know what job title to search for that would be relevant to that field.
I only have minimal retail experience from working over summer breaks. I also did a legal internship at my local supreme court and I shadowed a judge's legal secretary and watched the judge in court. I'm working with very little and I've been applying, I think I've sent out at least 10 applications over the past two weeks, I'm slacking a bit because I'm currently writing my senior capstone and the play was time-consuming as well AND I feel very underqualified. I notice a lot of jobs also want Spanish speakers and I can only speak a minimal amount of Spanish. Regardless, I need help with what I should look for on my job search. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Edit: After the show, one of the actors said she would put me in touch with someone who might be interested in turning my play into a real thing. I kind of blanked as she was talking because the offer was surreal to me but I think I recall her saying something about making it a short film or something. Do you think that could lead to anything? I emailed her yesterday and she said she put me in touch with the person so I'm just waiting for their call/email.
