Hey all! I'm attempting to undergo a somewhat major career change from public health to environmental health and safety and/or industrial hygiene. I'm having a tough time finding jobs that don't require years of experience, though, even entry level positions seem to want 1-2 years of experience or certifications (CSP/ASP) that require experience.
Anyone have any advice on how to break into this field? Here are my qualifications, for reference:
BSc Biology
MSc microbiology
OHST (Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician)
OSHA 30 hour general industry training
HAZWOPER 40 hour
