Had a phone interview with a company and went well. But now, as part of the interviewing process, they would like me to complete a project that'll take about 5-6 hours to do (according to them). I am peeved.
I usually don't mind going through hypotheticals, but this sounds like I am straight-up doing someone's project. The last time something similar like this happened, I spent hours on a thing - then got ghosted. So this time around, I am leaning towards a HARD "thanks, but no thanks."
How would you approach something like this?

Would you complete a project/assignment as part of an interview process?
