Some random general questions

  1. If I apply to the job, I'm willing to relocate to where the job is. I don't care if the company pays for it or not, I just really want to move out of where I currently am. I read that on your resume you should put "Relocating to x". But most of the time I won't be relocating there unless I get the job and I feel like it is dishonest to write "Relocating to x on this date" when I'm not. How do I indicate on my resume I'm willing to relocate?

  2. When job applications ask to enter your past employment and describe your responsibilities, what are they actually looking for in this section. Do I just copy and paste my resume, write a few brief sentences about what I did? Does anyone even read this?

  3. How am I suppose to write a cover letter describing why I want to work at a company when I never heard of the company before and they have little to no info on their website? This happens a lot with smaller consulting companies for example. It's one thing if they don't require cover letters, but some companies like this do. I feel like if I am too general it will hurt more than help
