I work for a bank, recently a position that I was interested in came open however the bank policy is to be in your role for 1 year, i've been with the company for 10 months, but been in the industry for 7 years. Trying to decide if I should ask for the exception to apply for the position which would be in the same branch or wait for the next 2 months and really focus on destroying the numbers. My performance last year was middling but above the expectation?
