For context, they would like an explanation of the termination. The problem in my case if that I was fired because, for unknown reasons (though I certainly said otherwise in the interview) the owner believed I lied and was intent on staying forever. As soon as she learned I was leaving the state for grad school, 5 months in the future, she fired me for lying in the interview and misleading her. Can I state that it was a mutual separation because I was leaving the state for grad school?
