A company said I should call them once I’ve graduated. What should I do?

I’m about to graduate with a BS in cell biology. I’m currently waiting to hear back from masters’ programs in bioinformatics, but have had either no luck or no news so far. Currently, I’m doing research at two different labs at my undergraduate university (primarily in computational biology) despite having finished my degree requirements last spring. I delayed officially graduating so I would still have access to my financial aid and use student resources. I have two papers I’m trying to help get to publication currently.

I applied to a company that matches my interest in case I don’t get in anywhere, both as a lab tech and also as a computational biologist, which I seemed to have enough experience for (only requiring a bachelors). Part of the reason in getting my masters is in order to be a competitive candidate, as most employers at job fairs or online have indicated that I’m too inexperienced. The recruiter for the computational biology job responded quickly and said that they are looking for a full time candidate and that I should call them when I’m officially graduated.

My obligations are finished in April, (when we have or conference) and because of this, I’ll be getting my degree in June, when the quarter ends. Should I indicate that I’d be free to work full time after April and that my degree will be conferred in June?

This would be my dream job if I were to be hired. I’m worried what may happen if I allow too much time to pass without responding or if I give the wrong answer.
