So I know it’s not post interview but I couldn’t find a flair for that. Anyway I had a job trial last Saturday at a café/family restaurant, just as an all rounder. I thought I did pretty well and was told that I would hear from them later tonight. Almost a week later and no reply?? I’m thinking about emailing them asking about it but I’m not sure how to word it? Should I even bother, I mean I’m really desperate for a job right now and no other place has responded to me. Ps I thought it might be important that they actually didn’t interview me and just straight up asked me to come in for a trial. There was only one other girl on trial to my knowledge as well so it’s not like there were many people trialing and they forgot to respond.
Really disappointed they haven’t emailed me though! I also have one year experience in hospitality, am young and cheap and trained in barista. Did I just get unlucky?
