Following up after an interview?

I had an interview with a recruiter (for a summer position) at a bank , and was told they'd get back to me within a week or so. Then the department I was applying for called to say I'd been selected for an in person interview, and that they'd email me shortly with some times--it's been a week since that call and I'm getting nervous.

Is there anything I can do? I don't have anyone's email (all the communication was via calls); and when I call the number of the second call, it goes to the department number so it doesn't help. Do I assume that it's over or am I being impatient?
