I'd really appreciate any advice anyone could give me right now.
I'm a 6-year experienced employee who mostly worked in outsourcing companies because I was unable to finish my Computer Science degree. I do have a College Certificate for a 2-year Computer Technology course, but it's not the same as a 4-year CompSci one.
I was fortunate enough to get a promotion from my last company, which gave me a position which was normally a rank or two higher than the usual jobs I got, but due to personal circumstances, I had to resign late last year.
Currently, I'm doing freelance writing and graphic design (which are both extremely competitive) to keep myself barely afloat while applying for a job. However, I just can't seem to get a return interview from everything I apply from. Because of my 2-year course education, I'm under-qualified for associate level jobs that are relevant to my past job. Also, due to my 6-year work experience and my associate-level position from my last company, I'm considered overqualified for most decent entry-level jobs.
I've been out of a job for almost 3 months now and it's so disheartening. I could only hope that this streak of bad luck will end soon.
