Work as a Recruitment Consultant

I was spoken to about a recruitment consultancy job yesterday, and I have no idea whether it's a match for me. It sounds like it has a massively incentivised system, but as a person, I can't tell if it matches me well enough.

Does anyone here work in the area? Do you know how high the satisfaction rate is for jobs like this? I know it can be tough, but I'd like to see what percentage of people think the job is actually worthwhile before I continue with the application. I have some really solid communication skills, but that's the only real reason they seem to have reached out to me.

BTW: the commission for the role is something ludicrous like 35%
