I’m so happy, I finally received and offer and am switching out of my horrible management job, no more people going missing or getting cups thrown at me! (Yay, I didn’t report that nightmare to reddit but oh well. I had to fire an employee who was skimming and she chucked a ceramic mug at me for doing so.).
The new employment is still in retail but it’s more focused in online work and the customers are more like clients. I’ve been job searching since last summer. My company that I just quit has been aggravating and horrible to me for a long time now, I put in my resignation letter today and did the paperwork for my new position. I feel liberated. Free! I didn’t give them 2 weeks either, which I know is a little shady.... but considering all the bullshit they did to me, resigning with a tasteful letter and opting out on the weekend after my shifts seems fair.
Only downside is temporarily won’t have health insurance, not sure what to do about that. I’m kind of at a loss... gotta figure that out.
Jumping ships and it feels good.
