Should I re-connect with someone I know from 5 years ago?

I used to work in administration at a hospital when I was in high school. Because I did so well, they hired me again for one more year. Everyone and I got along so well until the department replaced the manager with a new one. That was five years ago.

The last time I was in touch with them was two years ago. They knew I was in school for nursing, but not that I graduated a few months ago. Should I try to reconnect with them in hopes of getting a job or is it too late?
