I’m just curious about your experience taking pre-employment assessments. I’m currently a Branch Manager at a bank and applied for a different position with another bank. They had me come in to take an honesty/integrity test, a critical thinking test and a personality test.
I heard back from them yesterday that I did not meet their minimum standards. Of course I followed up trying to get some guidance on how I could do better on these types of tests moving forward but unfortunately they do not give out individual test results and only said I would be able to retest in 90 days. I’m sure this position will be filled by then and if I am to stay in banking I am hoping to get out of my current position so that’s a bummer.
But my question is, have any of you had experience with these types of assessments before and if so, what are some tips you have for the next time I encounter one?
