Spam, spam and more spam... Honestly there is no point to it anymore, in my opinion. It fails at the most basic level, getting employment. How can a platform full of recruiters, be so incomprehensible. A lot of the jobs listed on Linkedin, actually send you to an external website! You cant even use your Linkedin profile, to apply for roles, you have to sign up to another website...
It's 2019 do we really need a Linkedin anymore, i'm highly tempted to delete mine. Seriously it's trash, i'm so bored of random recruiters sending me messages about my perfect role. These "perfect roles" are a complete mismatch, if they had read my profile they would have known.
I'm looking through my Linkedin i have 952 connections, 95% are recruiters! And only two of them have ever got me a job offer. And that was prior to us connecting on Linkedin, years ago... I have never got a job offer through Linkedin and, i just seem to be wasting time talking to useless recruiters, who lead me on and then just become another pointless connection. I don't need those type of bragging rights, what good is it having all these recruiters if they don't find me work?
Is it time for Linkedin to go?
