Job searching when depressed

I am in work at the moment as a software engineer but I despise the job I am in. I have depression that is treated with anti depressants that make me extermly flat and make me appear uninterested, I keep getting turned down for roles for not being excited enough in the interviews, anyone else have tips for appearing excited?
