So I’m not sure what to say if they ask me if I’m currently working basically.
I do have a job, but I’ve literally been there for 3 days. I’ve taken this interview because quite simply it’s a significantly better job that pays more and is in a field I could go into long term.
The second issue is that the current job I have does have some applicable skills to this other job I feel I could point to but again I’ve been there under a week so I’m unsure how to approach this.
Furthermore I initially declined to interview but ended up calling back having changed my mind. I basically said that I was a bit flustered and didn’t want to jeopardise my new job but felt this was a very good opportunity for something I’d want to do long term so didn’t want to pass it up.
Obviously not a great way to handle it but it’s basically the truth
Edit: quick edit, also how am I supposed to resign after a few weeks if I get this job, I haven’t even finished training here yet and I would have maybe worked for a week by the time the new one starts I assume
