I've applied to four internships but I want to talk about one in particular. This specific one is what I really wanted to get into because it doesn't require me to travel out of state. My application was due on Jan. 31. I got an email saying that they've received all application materials and the next step in the application process for this particular internship is a phone interview that will be conducted in February. It said the top 150 applicants will be contacted by the office for the interview. Technically it hasn't been two weeks yet, but I'm just a bit worried because it's almost mid-February and I don't think I've gotten a call from them yet. I was wondering if a follow up email would be a good idea at this time? And should I do this for the rest of the internships?
