I'm asked to go to a job interview for a position I'm quite under-qualified

I'm currently on a job hunt.

I sent an email with my resume and a cover letter to a very small company for a position as content writer. I felt like I had all the necessary requirements and I was willing to go for an entry-level position.

After a week, one of the founders replied telling me that another position was open, one I am pretty under-qualified for. I met a few of the requirements, but only theoretically (they ask a couple years of experience and I totally lack experience both in the role and in that industry as well). From what it looks like, sounds like a responsibility role.
At the end of the email he asked me for a job interview.

I am pretty sure someone read my resume and my cover letter, and nowhere I mentioned I have all that experience. I can make myself look a little better, but I'm no liar.

So I'm confused. I would like an opportunity, but I don't know why they're asking me to interview when it's pretty clear I lack the experience they want.
