I have an Amazon non-tech internship interview, I'm looking at the advice on the internet, and I'm completely fazed.
Hi,
So I've managed to get to the final interview stage for a non-tech internship at Amazon.
A lot of the advice around the internet seems to revolve around the 14 leadership principles. I know them off by heart now but anyone with 1 minute of time and 1/4 of a brain could memorise them.
I'm having real trouble coming up with "stories"/examples using the STAR method based around each of these 14 leadership principles. The thing is, I'm only a first-year undergraduate in the UK. I probably have a little more experience on my CV than the average 18-year-old, but I feel like I don't have enough meat on the bone so to speak to actually make my stories for the 14 leadership principles convincing/compelling.
How much experience does Amazon actually expect 18-year-old potential interns to have? Heck, there are some leadership principles which I literally have *no* experience/stories to back up.
This will be my first "non-tech" interview as everything I've done so far in my life has been tech related, and I'm trying to explore some non-tech roles.
Thanks in advanced.
