After four years of doing accounting work, I think I’m done. A desk job just isn’t for me. I don’t want to go back for another degree because I have enough student loans currently.
I’m leaning towards CNC or tool & die, but I don’t know how to get started. Looking at job postings, they require a journeyman’s card or apprenticeship certificate.
I’m really looking for someone who’s had experience with an apprenticeship and how they went about getting into the career.
I’m in the Grand Rapids, mi area.
