How to find a boss like Jack Ma in his early days?

I've been jobless for a year. I got tired of pushing myself to work in big BPO companies. In my country, there's always hiring of call center/back office jobs and that's where I get accepted relatively much easier, or it's the easiest to find as well. It's difficult to get into the government without connections even if you rank high in the exams. As for NGOs and small businesses, I really have no idea where to look, I only know Jobstreet and the likes. I currently have lost connection to all my friends since I lost my phone and their contact info, and since I disliked being on Facebook and it developed my social anxiety. So, I thought of trying to ask the world here on Reddit, for a wider set of ideas as well.

I would really prefer to work for a small business or start-up company. I only once had a one month project with a small company where my brother used to work. It was so much different experience than working in a big company. I liked knowing everyone, reporting to the owner directly, and having a voice in the management. It's a bit disorderly unlike big companies with established protocols and all, but I love that more room for creativity and innovation.

I only recently learned about Jack Ma. I heard about him from a Chinese friend and then I started watching his speeches/interviews on YouTube. I am amazed with his person, I'm touched with his story and I feel his big heart for people and not really doing business just for himself. I felt like I found someone I'd really like to be my boss and work hard with. In his speech, he advises people age 20-30 to find a boss to learn business from, and he urges to help small businesses. I felt his empathy for small business as how hard it was for them when they were still starting small. Since then, I had more reason to aim for working in a small business. I am also interested in technology so I like to join a start up company.

Any advice how to find a job in a small business/start up and a boss like Jack Ma in his early days?
