How long should I wait to follow up on an interview? Or do I not follow up at all and just wait?

So I applied for a job that i figured i had no chance of even getting an interview. I had an interview and she offered for me to "try out" to see how i interact with patients and everyone else (this was a healthcare job). On my second day of tryouts which was last friday she said she has a few more people trying out next week, that she thinks i did great and that I am at the top of her list. I actually got a different job offer that same friday evening. I really want that healthcare job. How long do i wait to call her to inquire if she made her decision or not? I want to show her that I really want it but I dont want to be annoying. Plus the other company (not healthcare field) are waiting for me to accept/decline their job offer.
