General Manager asked why I declined the job offer.

So I just declined a job offer I got by mail, saying in the general range that I don't think the job is a great fit for me at this point in my career. This was a part of my internal reasoning, but not the whole reason.

A couple of hours go by and he responds and in the e-mail he asks how I reached this decision. Is this normal, do I even answer this?
