Do you think being able to post political articles on LinkedIn is a form of privilege?

I'm connected with a former boss who regularly posts political content on LinkedIn. It's conservative content in a conservative industry and it is popular and has no repercussions for him.

I definitely don't feel like that is a space I can engage, because I take contracts and I need my profile to help me get jobs, but I hate so much that there is a lot of non employment related vitriol towards a female leader in my area.

I would never obscure my beliefs if asked but I know if I'm clear about them it would mean an end to my career.

Sometimes I just want to move so that it doesn't feel "yucky" taking the money.
