Hi, I am in a contract to hire position. It’s a 3 month contract and I’m in my second month. I was wondering if this contract period is the probation period? I’m technically employed by the recruiting agency as they give me my weekly w-2. If the company I’m physically working at decides to hire me when the contract is over, would I have to go through another 90 day period since that’s the official start date the company will have on their books? Does anyone know what’s the norm or if it’s dependent on each individual company? TYIA
