(ASAP) Looking for a second opinion on a LinkedIn message to a recruiter

I'm a recent grad (electrical engineering & business) currently on the hunt for a full time gig. There's a new-grad role with a major technology company that I'm stoked about. Applications were accepted up until the 11th earlier this week, although I applied 2 days after the posting went live in mid-January.

So far I've done everything I can think of to push my name to the top of the pile (early submission, resume, cover letter, updated LinkedIn). I haven't heard anything back yet though, which makes me nervous. After a quick search I found a recruiter on LinkedIn in that office who specializes in new grads and this job function.

I was thinking of sending her this email. What are your thoughts? Would this help? Would you modify anything?

Given that they're on the other side of the world, their Friday workday starts in ~2 hours and so I'm going to fire it off tonight.

Hi RECRUITER,

On Jan 14 I submitted an application for COMPANY's London-based POSITION role that closed earlier this week

I see from your LinkedIn profile that you work as a new-grad recruiter in London's JOB-FUNCTION department. I'm following up with you to ask if there's anything I can do at this time to further my candidacy for the position?

I've conducted extensive research into the POSITION role over recent weeks and I'm excited by this possible opportunity to help manage COMPANY-REGION's product, growth, and brand marketing channels. Since early in my degree I've been committed to a career in the technology sector focusing on international marketing & business development, and so I believe I'd excel in this position!

Thank you for your time - I appreciate that you're quite busy.
