Patent Agent Trainee: Salary?

Hi Guys, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I got an email from a patent/intellectual property office about becoming a patent agent trainee. They asked me what my expectation for salary is but I don’t know much about the position’s duties and/or what would be fair to ask for.

I’m in Canada and have an Honours B.Sc. In Physics if that makes any difference.
