Friend fractured wrist slipping on ice in his neighborhood. Fired from job.

My friend does not have a Reddit account and I want to see if theres any help for him. He works in a warehouse. He was able to use his medical benefits to pay for the medical assistance (since he had already paid for the month or however it's broken down) and then he was let go. He would be in a cast for 6 weeks.

Any suggestions?
