I started a job this week but quickly realised it was not for me. I have never quit a job before after such short notice, but I am trusting my gut feeling this time. Plus, my old job want me back and want me to start on Monday!
My contract only mentions giving a months notice after my probationary period is up (3 months). There is nothing detailing the process when handing in notice before this point.
Does this mean I can quit without giving notice? I was not meant to be in again until Monday, and today is a working day so I was going to email in this afternoon... Any suggestions?
