i have never quit without giving s two week notice and i quit today for the first time without giving one. i have been a loyal employee at this place for 2 and a half years. i have never not even exaggerating, never missed a shift and have bever been late. i also have picked up other peoples shift constantly. but my boss is an asshole for the past two months and i hit my breaking point today. he gives schedules out on sunday and then he will tell me “also might give you another day in the week will let you know” that is not fair. you cant give me a day mid week when you already made the schedule i have school and i plan nt week accordingly. also he lies to customers when we run our of things for drinks he makes me make it anyway and lie about whats in it. also not to mention steals from the grocery store. he doesn’t know i know that. he makes me a girl close by myself at night and two weeks ago when i took out the trash i got touched by a man inappropriately. anyone who comes in asks “youre by yourself? thats not right”. he also comes late when i have to leave and made me late for an exam. and made me lie to corporate about having a food handling license when he never made me do the training. i dont care how small the lie is i dont like lying especially at work. today i had enough. he asked me to work 9:30-4pm and i said okay and then the DAY OF tells me “hey come in at 8 am” like what the hell dude no you cant tell me that the day of. and i came to work and he left me alone to work. we always have two people working but he is being cheap and putting one person lately. it got really busy and i was making peoples orders as fast as j could and people started to complain about the wait. so many customers gave me attitude and i just hit my breaking point. i already have a new job and i told him a month ago i would leave in january but i quit today bc i couldnt take any more of this crap... oh and get this. he texts me “you know better than to quit so sudden i will be talking to your mom very soon” he knows my mom vaguely. like EXCUSE ME? IS THIS A PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE? my mom has nothing to do with this and you think you can scare me? nice try. im 20 years old and you have no right to tell my mom anything. she doesn’t even care i quit a shit job like this. i just want to hear yalls opinions. i told him i don’t appreciate him making me work alone and being disrespectful and making me lie. the him telling my mom thing was so stupid i laughed
