20 year old male here. Got fired recently from my Customer Sales Rep job after taking 3 sodas over the year and a half that I've spent at the place. (I don't blame the company even though I think the punishment doesn't match the crime, but the blame is entirely on me for taking the drinks.)
I have a year and half of CSR experience, no drivers license, and need somewhere close enough for me to bus to within 1-2 hours ideally. I know a license will help a lot but it's a work in progress for now. I'm current searching for somewhere new through google searches, Monster, and Indeed, along with a couple of company sites here and there. I used to be paid 12$ an hour but I'm looking for a position that pays 14$-15$ but I'd settle on 13$ with OT. I feel like I'm shooting high because I'm kind of stuck in the center of Minneapolis and rent isn't too cheap right now, even with a roommate.
Anyone have any tips on searching, how I might be able to tailor my resume, or maybe even some job titles that require little-to-no experience with the wage I'm aiming for?
Another question I have is will the taking of the sodas really affect my job searching and my chances of being hired? It's an idea that's not implausible and it's been plaguing my thoughts for a bit.
