So I work in a factory doing relatively easy work but about two or three weeks ago, there was a misunderstanding between a coworker and I was really upset, upset me to the point where I decided to put in my two weeks without looking for another job. I made a huge mistake in letting my anger get in the way because I don't have any other work lined up for me (despite what I told everyone) and leaving at this time of December is just an all around bad idea. Luckily, one of the supervisors told me that I was always welcome to come back if the other job didn't work out
Tomorrow is my appointed last day and tbh, I know I messed up and I have been stressing all weekend about it because I know how hard getting a job can be.
I think I'm going to go to HR and just tell them that the (none existent) new job fell through and they are not going to be able to hire me and I will see if they can keep me on like I am now.
