Had my first ever interview for my first ever job, did i do well? its basically the dream job for me at the moment, and defo the only chance i have at it where i live

I am 16, living in Scotland, and I had my first interview ever at a trampoline park. I have a relevant background in parkour, trampolining and tricking so naturally I thought I was most suited for this job. I sent in my CV and didn't hear anything for 6 weeks.

Finally I got an email saying they had my CV and we're wondering if I was still up for a job, I got an interview last Tuesday.

They were very keen on my parkour/freerunner background and wanted to know what I thought of them expanding to include a parkour section of their park, and even suggested I could be running lessons for them, which is basically a dream come true for me rn.

They took down details of when I could work(almost all the time aside from school), and some specific information I had about the local parkour scene (I have been part of it for over a year and know most of the community and who runs it all)

I am normally a bit awkward but I think it went well as I didn't hesitate when asking the questions and spoke clearly.

If they do go into the parkour sector I think I would be hired as I know the community and area fairly well, and as far as I know I'm their best choice (level of ability, availability, links to the community).

The interview didn't go perfectly, there were questions I could've answered better, like at the start they asked what I'd change about the park and I just sort of said it was really good the way it was, and to maybe offer more use of their olympic trampoline (I wouldve gone into parkour but I didn't know they were interested at that point)

I really really want this job as to me it's the most enjoyable, and is a great way to monitize my hobbies, I have spent over 50+ hours in the park, quite possibly nearly 100 hours. (Not so much nowadays but when it opened it was the only indoor place for me to train)

Only issue is it's just above minimum wage for my age (£5/hr) I don't know if it would be more when I'd be coaching, I'd like it to be but if it's not then I am not to upset, it's fun, good experience, and it's not terrible pay compared to other student jobs here (£4.5/hr- £8/hr)
