Long story short, I completed all the necessary coursework at my community college to get a transfer degree to a 4 year University. I transferred this august. Fast forward to now, I am being considered for a tech job in a corporate office. Turns out I neglected to fully apply for the "graduation" though I had completed the program (my mistake, I own that, didn't talk to my advisor before transferring). My background experience and interview are stronger qualifications than the Associates in Arts degree, but the question I am asking is: How do I navigate this situation if I get the job offer? Do I tell them that there will be a discrepancy on my background check? Could I offer transcripts as proof? Should I even be worried?
Note: the decision is this Friday. Please ask clarifying questions if I wasn't too clear.
