I joined a rotational program 3.5 years ago out of college. Worked in PA for 1.5 years, 1 year in TX, and a year back in PA, all with the same company (just different roles).
My (then) girlfriend (now fiancé) lived with me throughout, but was still getting her masters during year 1.5 and worked part time. She moved down to TX with me and found a full time job pretty quickly. Then when we moved back up to PA, it took her a few months to find a new job, so she’s only been there for 6 months total at this point.
Now, I’ve been offered a job to relocate down to FL with a new company. We’ve been thinking how to minimize the impact that moving could have on her resume/future and would like some advice or opinions. Some options could be having her stay behind until she reaches a year of experience with her current company, not moving until she finds a job down there but leaving if it’s before a year, or just moving with me immediately and start job hunting. Thanks.
