I’ve recently moved to an area where tech is booming and I feel that I’ve reached the point in the wireless industry that once had so much growth and potential and wasted my time with it
I’d like to get into SaaS sales and I’m more than willing to start at the bottom and work my way up
Roles I’ve carried working for two wireless companies over 10 years
Lead sales, assistant manager, store manager, multi store manager (still under an area manager) and my most recent position and current role as a business representative
Note that I also don’t have a college degree
The lack of degree hasn’t been the issue with trying to get into a startup or even established tech company, it’s my lack of experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
I’ve been scouring the internet for classes or certifications to get my feet wet with so when I apply again I have something solid to present to the company showing the initiative I’ve taken to learn how to work with these types of systems
My main issue is I cannot figure out which courses/classes/certifications carry any type of weight and which ones don’t
Any advice on where to look would be much appreciated!
