Did two interviews, but no offer. How to improve my interview technique?

So I've had two interviews so far with two different type of firms. This first one was with BlackRock and the second with Bloomberg. Here's a synopsis of how I think they went:

BlackRockIt was an on-campus interview that was mostly informal. Primarily I got asked behavioral questions, and the abstract was to find if "I was a good fit" for the firm. At the start of the interview I was nervous, mostly stuttering, but towards the end, I had the impression that the interviewer and I kicked it off. We realized that him and I both happen to volunteer at the same dog shelter. We shared stories about this and what was suppose to be a short, five-minute interview, stretched to almost twenty minutes. I thought it ended on a solid note, and honestly thought I made a good impression on the guy. I followed up by sending him a thank you email. He never replied, and I never got feedback from the firm. So the searched continued.Bloomberg LPI applied on their career page. Got invited to a video interview where I was some questions and recorded my answer. A few days later I had a phone interview. An hour after the phone interview I was invited to a Super Day. I thought the Super Day went well. It started with a tour of the building (it's insanely beautiful) followed by a simulation exercise so you could get a feel to what you would be doing on the day to day, should you get the job of course. Finally, we ended the day with two interviews.

Interview 1 with a Leader from the Analytics Department:I was nervous sure, but this time I was not stuttering. Asked me behavioral questions like; "Tell me about a time when you had to teach someone something." "What would you describe are the three best characteristics of great customer service." I thought my answers were solid, not GREAT but good. I had prepared some of my responses for this interview, so I was ready for some of the questions. I felt confident for this interview and thought I did well, also asked some good questions at the end.

Interview with a leader from the Sales Department:This interview was tough. I had not prepared for any sales questions at all. He asked me what subscription service I currently pay for and then asked me to act out how I would sell that same service to him at an enterprise level. I did not do my best with this interview. However, I kept eye contact and tried to answer his questions as best I could. Finally today I got word back from Bloomberg, and they are not moving forward with my application. I'm a bit disappointed, and I was starting to grow a lot of interest into the firm. Now obviously I need to improve my interview techniques, and I'm sure some on this sub have struggled with this in the past. So I'm curious to know what you guys have done to from "okay" interviews to GREAT interviews that lead you to land that job you want. Any tip would be much appreciated!
