Co-worker I am learning under is constantly setting me up to fail. What to do?

Been at a new job and still learning about how things operate here. I was assigned to learn from a co-worker. However, the co-worker is constantly setting me up by having me correct their mistakes, get confirmation on things they forgot or giving bad advice.

I was able to show/prove on some occasions that I was given bad direction from co-worker and my boss still commends me for my work ethic despite these hiccups.

How should I go forward while still learning under a co-worker who seems to be out to sabotage me?
