Am a junior who always thought I wanted to be a lawyer, but recently learned that was not true so I opted my public policy degree for Management to work in the private sector. I am about to earn my minor in political science. I am also studying for a semester a European university earning a certificate in international affairs. I am also a building manager for a major facility at home university campus. Haven’t done my summer internship yet.
All I can read online is people shit talking management degrees and saying how generic and useless they are. I thought I was making a wise decision by transitioning into management. All I ever heard about was how good business degrees were so now I’m finally going through with it and now it’s apparently a shit major. With my other stuff am in a good position with my degree?
I just want to make some decent money and not fall into a miserable sales position. Ideally consulting, project management, etc. I also would think my study abroad gives me an international edge. Stressed out.
