Hi everybody as I said in the title I’m considering a move to the US for a job.
I’m a young graduate and just finished law school back in Europe in September. I currently work for a shipping company in the legal and claims department.
My company has an internal mobility program where we can apply to jobs within the agencies worldwide. They are currently offering several positions in Charleston SC that fit my profile/skill set.
However before considering a move there that will imply a lot of preparation I wanted to seek advise on this sub.
How can I estimate the average pay for someone with my skill set and experience so I can come prepared to the interview that will ensue?
Also I’d like to know if you could tell me how I can evaluate the average cost of living locally (rent/food/taxes/health care,...) in order to live comfortably.
Any help and tips are more than welcome.
