Time & energy outside of work?

For everyone who works 40 hours a week: how do you all have time to pursue:

• hobbies
• friends
• dating
• studying / learning / reading
• exercise
• reflecting

I recently left my first full-time job after a year and I found that most days I was so exhausted after I got home that even though I had several hours left in the day I couldn't bring myself to pursue most of the above, even though I wanted to.

Thoughts?
