Hey all, so I have been searching for a plumbing apprenticeship for a couple months now, and have had zero luck. I currently work in construction for a family friend, and I'm seeking to change employment and work in the trades. I'm looking to reach out to anyone who works in the trades for advice. First, is it better to go to school first then start looking for a job/apprenticeship to increase my chances? Or be patient and wait until i find one that will pay to put me through school? I have been actively looking for a entry level or first year apprenticeship for 3 months now on websites like Indeed, or CareerBuilder and have not heard anything. Am I going about this the wrong way? Is there a better way to find an apprenticeship? Also just to be more specific in case anyone asks any questions, I live in southern NH and would like to work in new construction plumbing.
