So I am moving to the city soon and I went to a job interview for a retail sales position at a huge chain mobile store (in Australia) and I think I did really well. Clicked with the manager, it was a 45 minute interview where he mostly told me about the benefits of the company and we talked about my experience and expected hours (which he said he could guarantee me.) He told me he had a few more candidates to interview and he’d be in touch at the end of next week regarding if I got the job. Cool, could mean anything.
Then as I was leaving- literally half an hour later I receive a phone call from a woman asking about how the interview went and if I could schedule one with her for early next week (I assume she is from HR or the manager’s manager.) I have worked several retail jobs and have never ever had to do a second interview so I’m nervous as hell, also a little confused about the whole situation.
What does this mean and what should I expect?
