Lied about my education during my interview

I recently did an interview for a minimum-wage job. I took a semester off of school but I ended up telling the hiring manager I'm attending school, and that I want to work full-time.

Would this be an issue? The reason I told the manager I'm attending school is because I didn't know how to answer if I were asked why I'm taking the semester off (I actually have no good reason). I feel really bad for lying about it and now that's all I can think about.
