Leaving Job to Work For a Current Client at my Current Job

Before I start, I should say I do not have an NDA, but I do have a non-compete agreement.

I work at a software development company, we make an enterprise piece of software that other companies use to do all sorts of various tasks at their job to support warehouse, inventory, accounting, etc. It's a large piece of software and most companies have a dedicated administrator for it. I work as an application specialist and I do a lot of implementing of our software at various companies, and also provide support to those companies before they're signed off and turned over to our full time support team. This includes training their staff and things of that nature. I am an expert at this software and could really help a struggling company organize their environment within the system to optimize all sorts of things and cut costs in many ways.

What kind of ethical dilemma am I looking at, or possible legal dilemma is there, if I were to take a job at one of these companies as the full time systems administrator for the product my company currently sells? Our clients are not competitors, and the company I'm looking at joining has nothing to do with our product except that they use it.

Would this be looked down on? Any potential pitfalls of doing something like this?

Thanks for any insight anyone can provide.
